Ruby Berry

Ruby Berry, age 78 of Dover, TN, formerly of Paris, died Thursday, November 17, 2022, at Diversicare of Dover.

She retired after a long career as a cosmetologist and owner of Total Look Beauty Salon in Paris.  She also worked as a real estate agent.  Ruby enjoyed crocheting, baking, and cooking.  She formerly attended New Harmony Baptist Church.

Ruby was born October 24, 1944, in Paris, TN, to the late Athel Bryant Cook and the late Lillie Mae Parker Cook.

She was married in 1977 to T.W. Berry, who preceded her in death on February 28, 2008.

She is survived by three sisters, Zannie Mae (Archie) Earheart of Dover, TN, Shirley Paschall of Nashville, TN, and Darrell Hill of Paris; one grandson, Dyllan Brown; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by one son, Bryant Brown; one sister, Sylvester Bomar; and two brothers, Manley Maynard, and Billy Cook.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242.  Visitation will be Tuesday, November 22, 2022, from 12:00 pm – 1:30 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home.  A graveside service will be held Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at 2:00 pm at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Paris, TN, with Chad Kennedy officiating.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Burial will follow the graveside service in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
