Rosie Durham

Rosie Lee Durham, age 84, of Paris, Tenn., died Tuesday, March 22, 2016, at Paris Healthcare & Rehab Center in Paris, Tenn.

Born April 8, 1931, in Whitlock, TN, she was the daughter of the late Alvis C. Evans and the late Ruby Lois Dunlap Evans.

She first married Lloyd Thomas Evans who died March 11, 1985. Then she married John R. "Bull" Durham who died March 4, 1993.Rosie was a member of Point Pleasant Baptist Church, who sold produce from her home, enjoyed working for her church & enjoyed flowers.

She is survived by her three sisters: Mary (Russell) Wallace of Paris, Tenn., Faye Glass of Buchanan, Tenn., and Paulette (Edwin T.) Hill of Big Sandy, Tenn. One Brother, William G. (Carolyn) Evans of Big Sandy, Tenn. , along with 8 nieces and nephews, several great nieces and great nephews and a special friend Alma Martin of Paris, TN.

Besides her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by a sister Darrell Evans in infancy and a half - brother Clifton Evans.

Pallbearers for the service will be Kevin Allen, Brian Allen, Nicki Lax, Dale Wallace, Josh Glass and David Chadwick. Keith Evans will serve as an honorary pallbearer.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St. - P.O. Box 788, Paris, Tenn., where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Wednesday, March 23, 2016 and from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM Thursday, March 24, 2016.The funeral service will be at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Thursday, March 24, 2016, with Larry Dukes officiating.

Interment will be at Buck Williams Cemetery in Springville, Tenn.
