Rose Marie Mullins

Rose Marie Mullins, age 88 of Paris, TN, died Monday, April 27, 2020, at Henry County Healthcare Center in Paris.

She was a homemaker who formerly worked at Salant & Salant in Paris.  Marie attended Olive Branch United Methodist Church in Cottage Grove.  She loved working in her yard, babysitting, cooking, and going to church.

Marie was born September 5, 1931, in Newbern, TN, to the late Hurley D. Mullins and the late Jessie B. Isbell Mullins.

She was married December 27, 1948, to Joseph Alton Mullins, who preceded her in death on November 19, 2008.

She is survived by one daughter, Tina M. Dean of Springfield, TN; one son, Charles P. (Pat) Mullins of Paris, TN; one sister, Juanita Smith of Cottage Grove, TN; three grandchildren, Shauna (Wade) Forrest, Amber (Chuck) Nored, and Jennifer Dean; seven step grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and one step great grandchild.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by one sister, Carolyn Whitson; four brothers, Frank Mullins, Junior Mullins, Ray Mullins, and Robert Mullins; and one great grandchild.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, P.O. Box 788, Paris, TN 38242.  A private graveside service will be held with Mike Wimberley officiating.

Serving as pallbearers will be Johnny Smith, Sr., Johnny Smith, Jr., Ronnie Smith, and Wade Forrest.

Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery in Cottage Grove, TN.
