Ronnie Ridgway, age 88, passed away peacefully at his residence on March 17, 2021.
Ronnie was an entrepreneur. He owned and operated Volunteer Sheet Metal for 18 years. He also owned and operated the Best Western Motel for 20 years and was a partner in a golf driving range. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, and building projects.
Ronnie was born September 6, 1932, in Paris, TN, to the late Carl Ross Ridgway and the late Elizabeth Pauline Callicott Ridgway.
He was married October 25, 1969, to Lorene Dunlap Ridgway, who survives, of Paris.
Along with his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Debbie Cooke of Holiday, FL; and two grandsons, Shawn Lee Nichols of Paris, and Brandon Ross Cooke of Holiday, FL.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one son, William Ross Ridgway.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242. Visitation will be Friday, March 19, 2021, from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with the funeral service beginning at 1:00 pm at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home, with Gary Collier officiating.
Named as honorary pallbearers are Eddie Wilson, Glenn Jackson and his caregivers Melony, Heather, Julia, and Aimee from Peace of Mind.
Entombment will be in the Ridgway Mausoleum at Walker Cemetery in Paris, TN.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: Walker Cemetery Fund, c/o Pam Hutson, 13360 Highway 69 North, Cottage Grove, TN 38224.
