Ronnie Lynn Burnette, age 62 of Paris, TN, died Friday, October 19, 2018, at Henry County Medical Center.
He was owner and operator of Holy Smoke Transport, and was a Christian in faith.
Ronnie was married to Mary Ellen Simmons Burnette on June 24, 2017, and she survives of Paris, TN.
He was born February 21, 1956, in Paris, TN to the late Bruce Clayton Burnette and Ellen Elizabeth Johnson Burnette who survives of Paris, TN.
Along with his wife and mother, he is survived by three children, Brandy Webb of Paris, TN, Heather Michelle Burnette of Paris, TN, and Adam Burnette of Hattiesburg, MS; two sisters, Shirley Gant of Jackson, TN, and Kermick Baker; three brothers, Dennis Michael Burnette of Arkansas, Gary Wayne Burnette of Jackson, TN, and Bruce Burnette of Pinson, TN; and seven grandchildren, Demitri Burnette, Christopher Burnette, Samuel Burnette, Taylor Berry, Aubreigh Berry, Ma’liyah Cowan, and Kree Armstrong.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one brother, Ray Burnette; and two sisters, Betty Garrett and Louise Kuykendall.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN, where visitation will be Monday, October 22, 2018, from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm. The funeral service will be Monday, October 22, 2018, at 1:00 pm at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home, with Charles Cate officiating.
Pallbearers will be Adam Burnette, Michael Burnette, Ricky Watson, Dallas Hancock, David Hayes, and Timmy Miles.
Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Russell, Hansel McCadams, Bill DeShields, and Randy Delk.
Burial will follow in the New Beaverdam Cemetery in Buchanan, TN.
