Ronald Paul Price, Sr.

Ronald Paul “Ronnie” Price, Sr., age 87, of Springville, TN, died Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at Henry County Healthcare in Paris, TN.

Ronnie retired from McLaughlin's Manufacturing in Moline, IL, where he worked as a Body Finisher. He had a passion for crappie fishing, NASCAR, and collecting NASCAR memorabilia. A dedicated member of the UAW, Ronnie proudly served the union for over 40 years.

He was born November 18, 1937, in Thorntown, IN to the late Albert Carl Price and the late Myrtle Loucks Price.

Ronnie married Ida Mae Price on June 2, 1957. She preceded in him in death on August 4, 2017.

He is survived by four children, Penny Kennedy of Springville, TN, Mike Price of Hillsdale, IL, Ron Price, Jr. of Springville, TN, and Jim Price of Clinton, IA; four sisters, Donna Blackmen of Moline, IL, Kathy Houseal of MS, Brenda Troublet of MO, and Norma Price of Moline, IL; two brothers, Richard Price and Donnie Price both of Streator, IL; eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Along with his parents and his wife, he was also preceded in death by two sisters, Carol Anderson, and Kay Perkins; three brothers, Jack Price, Bud Price, and Russell Price (Infancy); and one grandchild, Misty Mae.

Ridgeway Funeral Home 201 Dunlap St./P.O. Box 788, Paris, TN 38242 will be handling the arrangements. His body is to be cremated with a celebration of life to be held at a later date in Illinois, with his final resting place to be in Lebanon, IN.
