Roger Dale Ivy

Roger Dale Ivy age 72 of Springville died Thursday, December 5, 2024, at the Murray Calloway County Hospital in Murray, KY.

Roger was a retired Quality Assurance Manager from the Purina Company after working 30 years. He enjoyed fishing, listening to music, working in the yard, and watching Fox.

He was born November 3, 1952, in Ridgely, TN, to the late Ezell Ivy and the late Rosa Stem Ivy.

Roger married Donna Jo Oakley Ivy February 25, 1977, and she preceded him in death October 2, 2001

Survivors include his girlfriend of several years, Brenda Kimbrell and her sons Jeremy London and Chris (Jamie) London; a son, Derek Ivy of Missouri; three sisters, Alice (Mark) Moore of Humboldt, TN, Mary (James) Douthit of Tulsa, OK, and Linda (John) Austin of Tulsa, OK; a brother, Donald (Alice) Ivy of Como; and three grandchildren, Kelly Ivy, Ryan Ivy, and Hunter Ivy.

In addition to his wife and parents, Roger was also preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Hogan, and Dorothy Smith; and two brothers, James Ivy, and David Ivy.

Ridgeway Funeral Home 201 Dunlap St./P.O. Box 788, Paris, TN 38242, will be handling the arrangements. Visitation will be held Thursday, December 12, 2024, from 4:00 until 7:00 pm and continue Friday, December 13, 2024, from 10:00 until 11:00 am. His funeral service will be held Friday, December 13, 2024, at 11:00 am at Ridgeway Funeral Home.

Serving as pallbearers for the service will be Jeremy London, Chris London, Derek Ivy, and Camron Zappa.

Burial will follow the service in Walker Cemetery in Cottage Grove, TN.
