Robert Lemonds

Robert Gene Lemonds, age 79, of Paris, TN, died Wednesday, November 30, 2016, at Paris Healthcare Center in Paris, TN.
He was a member of the Paris Community of Christ. He was a former owner of Industrial Bearing in Paris, TN, and was a U.S. Army veteran. He loved his grandchildren, playing cards with them, and singing and playing piano.
Robert was born July 30, 1937 in Big Sandy, TN, to the late George Lemonds and the late Dorothy Evans Lemonds.
Robert was married to Barbara Fay Coleman Lemonds on September 4, 1960, who survives of Paris, TN. Along with his wife, he is also survived by two daughters, Teresa (Larry) Cloar of McKenzie, TN, and Tammy (Dave) Wilson of Nashville, TN; three sisters, Linda (Billy) Nance of Paris, TN, Sarah Lane of Paris, TN, and Wanda (Billy) England of Paris, TN; two brothers, Freddie (Georgia) Lemonds of Paris, TN, and Tildon (Margaret) Lemonds of Paris, TN; five grandchildren, Rachel (Logan) Burks, Jared Henderson, Hanna Henderson, Trevor Cloar, and Teyton Cloar; four sisters-in-law, Betty Lemonds of Cottage Grove, TN, Barbara Lee Lemonds of Paris, TN, Martha Lemonds of Paris, TN, and Carolyn Carraway of Hazel, KY; and one brother-in-law, Darrel (Debbie) Coleman of Friendship, TN.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Madeline Collier and Thedia Brown; seven brothers, Milburn Lemonds, James B. Lemonds, Joel Lemonds, Darrel Lemonds, George Lee Lemonds, Johnny Lemonds, and Morris Lemonds.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN, where visitation will be Friday, December 2, 2016, from 4 - 7 pm, and on Saturday December 3, 2016, from 12 – 2 pm. The funeral service will be Saturday, December 3, 2016, at 2:00 pm, at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home, with Dale Gallimore and Gary Collier officiating.
Pallbearers will be Dale Lemonds, Kenny Nance, Jared Henderson, Teyton Cloar, Trevor Cloar, Lonnie Dicus, Rusty Coleman, and Paul Tanner.
Interment will follow in Walker Cemetery.
