Robert Griffin

Robert E. Griffin, Jr., age 66, of Springville, Tenn., died Thursday, March  6, 2014, at his residence in Springville, Tenn.

He was married to Ruth Lewis Griffin September 29, 1995 and she survives.

He attended Henry County Tabernacle.  Robert Served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and then retired after working 34 years as an inspector at Emerson Electric in Paris, TN.

He was the son of the late Robert Griffin Sr. and the late Edna Kimbry Griffin.

He is also survived by his Two Daughters,  Lisa (Doug) Wood of Germantown, Tenn,  Debbie (Tony) Patterson of Camden, Tenn;  Two Sons,  Bill Baxley of Springville, Tenn,  Chris Baxley of Springville, Tenn; and  4 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren.

Robert was also preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Jones and a brother, Joe Griffin who died March 7, 2014.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn., where visitation will be from 4 to 7 pm Saturday, March  8, 2014.  Visitation will continue from 1 to 2 pm Sunday, March  9, 2014 at Henry County Tabernacle.  The Funeral service will be at Henry County Tabernacle at 2:00 PM Sunday, March  9, 2014.

R. T. Bennett will officiate.

Interment will follow in Community Cemetery in Springville, Tenn.
