Robert Conklin Jr.

Robert “Bo” Conklin, Jr., age 60, of Puryear, Tenn., died Friday, June 20, 2014, at his residence in Puryear, Tenn.

He was married to Wanda Mann Conklin Nov. 3, 1972 and she survives.    Bo was a member of Northfork Baptist Church and was a retired truck driver who last worked for MPS Trucking in Dickson, TN.    He formerly worked for Tennessee Asphalt .

Bo was born August 17, 1953 in Cornwall, NY to the late Robert Conklin Sr. and the late Mary Frances Slawson Conklin.

Besides his wife, Wanda Mann Conklin, he is also survived by; One Daughter,  Holly Marie (David) Big Mountain of Puryear, Tenn;  Three Sons,  Kevin Vails (Sandy) Conklin of Vero Beach, Fla,  Keith Andrew (Christine) Conklin of Puryear, Tenn,  Robert Ryan Conklin of Puryear, Tenn;  Two Sisters,  Barbara Schade of Middleton, N.Y.,  Helen Wilson of Bloomingburgh, N.Y.;  Two Brothers,  James Conklin of Bullville, N.Y.,  Fred Conklin of McKenzie, Tenn;  Grandchildren, Tyler Conklin, Paige Elizabeth Conklin, Wyatt Conklin, Evan Conklin, Joseph Jordan, Beau Big Mountain, Ryan Conklin, Emmalee Glenn, and Tiffany Jordan;   Great Grandchildren, R.J. Collins and Jordan  Collins.

Besides his parents, Bo was also preceded in death by a sister, Agnes MacNear.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St. Paris, Tenn.

He will be cremated with a Memorial Service at Northfork Baptist Church at 2:00 PM Sunday, June 29, 2014.

Randy Kuykendall will officiate.
