Rito Rodriguez

Rito Rodriguez, age 90 of Springville, TN, died Friday, April 14, 2023, at his residence.

He was a U.S. Army Korean War Veteran with the 187^th Airborne. He loved woodworking, fishing and enjoyed being around the lake. Rito retired from maintenance with Vulcan Materials in McCook, IL.

Rito was born May 22, 1932, in New Braunfels, TX, to the late, Cruz Rodriguez and the late, Petra Rodriguez.

He was married August 14, 1981, to Wanda Jean Bush Rodriguez, who survives, of Springville, TN.

Along with his wife, he is also survived by three children, Alicia (Alex) Garcia of New Braunfels, TX, Rita Osuch of New Braunfels, TX, and Rito (Melody) Rodriguez, Jr. of Australia; two stepchildren, Alfredo Lopez of San Antonio, TX, and Rosie Powers of Springville, TN; five grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two sisters, and three brothers.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN.  The body is to be cremated with no services planned.
