Ricky W. Rowlett

Ricky W. Rowlett, age 68 of Paris, TN, died February 15, 2018, at his residence.

He was a lifelong cattleman, who also worked for the Paris Board of Public Utilities sewer and water treatment plant for several years.  He last worked for Pepper’s Automotive in sales.  He was a former 24-year member of the Paris Civitan Club, where he served as President and Lt. Governor of West Tennessee. He was a lifetime member of the Paris FFA, a member and former President of the Tennessee Livestock Association, and a 26-year member of the Henry County Fair Board.  He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Paris.

Ricky was born July 22, 1949, in Dover, TN, to the late Owen Jefferson Rowlett and the late Mary Ann Fitzhugh Rowlett.

He was married June 28, 1968, to Vikki Moore Rowlett, who survives, of Paris, TN.

Along with his wife, he is also survived by one son, Jonathan Rowlett of Paris, TN; and one grandson, Cody (Sarah) Rowlett of Paris, TN.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one brother, Larry Rowlett.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN, where visitation will be Saturday, February 17, 2018, from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., and continue Sunday, February 18, 2018, from 12:00 p.m.until his service.  The funeral service will be Sunday, February 18, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. in LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home with Dennis Vance officiating.

Serving as pallbearers will be Wayne Dean, Todd Rowlett, Ronnie Rowlett, Billy Smith, Terry Fitzhugh, and Randy Baucum.  Honorary pallbearers will be Bud Mangrum, James Page, Robert Wells, John Goodrich, Don Revelle, Bobby Milam Larry Baucum and Gerald Tyler.

Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park in Paris, TN.
