Rick Evans

Ricky Wayne “Rick” Evans, age 61 of Hazel, KY, died Thursday, March 31, 2023, at his residence.

He worked for many years at Briggs & Stratton in Murray, KY.  Rick served in the Army National Guard for 15 years and was a member of the Amvets.  He enjoyed fishing, loved his grandchildren, and was Baptist by belief.

Rick was born March 14, 1962, in Chicago, IL, to the late Virdle Evans and Nellie Charles Evans, who survives, of Paris, TN.

He was married November 12, 1982, to Karen Paschall Evans, who survives, of Hazel, KY.

Along with his wife and mother, he is also survived by two sons, Jared (Joyce) Evans of Hazel, KY, and Derick Evans of Hazel, KY; three sisters, Deborah (Lonnie) Pierpoint of Big Sandy, TN, Donna (Timothy) Beecham of Murfreesboro, TN, and Darla Evans of Paris, TN; and three grandchildren, Caleb Evans, Brylie Evans, and Maggie Evans.

In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by one brother, Ronald Evans.   

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN.  The body is to be cremated.
