Rick Paschall, age 63, of Paris, Tenn, died Friday, September 23, 2016, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn.
Rick was a member of First Baptist Church and retired as Park Manager at Paris Landing State Park after working 28 years as a Park Ranger and then Park Manager. He formerly worked for the Public Service Commission in Commercial Vehicle Inspection and had also worked at Servall and Holley Carburetor Plant in Paris.
Rick was born August 2, 1953 in Murray, KY to the late Charles "Buster" Paschall and the late Donna Washam Paschall.
Rick was married on May 23,1980 to Alane Diggs Paschall of Paris and she survives. He is also survived by his one daughter, Miranda Paschall and sweetheart Lee Rial of Camden, Tenn; one son, Colin Paschall of Paris, Tenn; two sisters, Jackie White of Oakley, Calif, and Marie (Harry) Taylor of Puryear, Tenn; one brother, David (Vicky Jo) Paschall of Puryear, Tenn; in-laws, Ancel (Carol) McDuffee of Paris, TN; and several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, Tenn., where the visitation will be from 12 - 2 pm Sunday, September 25, 2016. The Funeral Service will be at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 2:00 pm Sunday, September 25, 2016. Steve Gallimore and Trent Bullock will officiate. Pallbearers will be Mark Taylor, Jason McCord, Lee Rial, Gordon Dugan, Josh Taylor, Joe Taylor, Tommy Kesterson, and Terry Williams. Paris Landing State Park Employees are named as Honorary Pallbearers.
Interment with Law Enforcement Honors will follow at Palestine Cemetery on Palestine Road in Paris, Tenn.
