Richard "Rick" Byrns

Richard “Rick” Byrns, age 54 of Henry, TN, died December 4, 2017.

Rick was a member of the American Legion Post 89.   A US Army Veteran, he served in the 81st Airborne as a Paratrooper.  He worked in Senior Management at Champion Homes in Dresden, TN.  Rick loved to play pool, fish, sing karaoke, shoot guns, and ride his Harley Davidson motorcycle.

Rick was born April 12, 1963, in Union City, TN to the late Richard T. Byrns and Brenda Chappell Byrns (Gerald) Jones of Martin, TN, who survives.

He was married August 29, 2015, to Diane Marie McCollum Byrns, who survives, of Henry, TN.

Along with his wife and mother, Rick is also survived by one daughter, Andrea Renee (Raul) Aguirre Perez of Greensboro, NC; one son, James Richard Byrns of Henry, TN; two step daughters, Samantha Eggers of Paris, TN, and Charli Eggers of Paris, TN; two sisters, Kathy (Tim) Dye of New Albany, MS, and Sandy (Gary) Mansfield of Martin, TN; one sister-in-law, Mary Campbell of Paris, TN; and five grandchildren, Maleque Jackson, Marrius Jackson, Kaison Eggers, Keilen Eggers, and Kannon Eggers.

Besides his father, Rick was also preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Jeff “Tex” Campbell on September 30, 2017.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN.  He is to be cremated.  Memorial visitation will be Thursday, December 7, 2017 from 5 – 7 pm and Friday December 8, 2017  from 2 -3 pm with a memorial service at 3:00 pm Friday at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home with Bro. Craig Peevyhouse officiating.  Military Honors will follow the service.
