Richard John Helgeson, Jr.

Richard John Helgeson, Jr., age 58 of Springville, TN, died Wednesday, April 24, 2019, in Springville, TN.

He worked for several years as a welder and fabricator.  He attended Lincoln Electric Welding School in Cleveland, OH, after graduating from Howell High School in Howell, MI.  Richard loved hunting, fishing, the outdoors, and his motorcycle.  He was a non-denominational Christian.

Richard was born February 27, 1961, in Livonia, MI, to Richard John Helgeson, Sr. and Verdien Marie Witt Helgeson, who both survive, of Springville, TN.

Along with his parents, he is also survived by one stepdaughter, Michaela (Matt) Saputo of Dexter, MI; one sister, Brenda (Brad) Adams of Durand, MI; one brother, Raymond (Lisa) Helgeson of Liberty, MO; four nephews, John Adams, Lance Adams, Austin Helgeson, and Bryan Helgeson; and one great nephew, Jase Adams.

Arrangements will be handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, TN, 38242.  Visitation will be Monday, April 29, 2019, from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with the funeral service to begin at 1:00 pm at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home, with Chad Kennedy officiating.

Cremation will follow the funeral service.
