Richard "Dick" Vincent Sr.

Richard Earl “Dick” Vincent, Sr., age 84, of Puryear, Tenn., died Sunday, January 24, 2016, at his residence in Puryear, Tenn.
Dick was a member and Sr. Deacon of Mill Creek Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He attended Puryear Methodist Church. He was a former supervisor at Holley Carburetor plant and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a volunteer chairman for the Salvation Army for a number of years. Dick was also a member of Masonic Lodge #72 in Essex Junction, VT and a member of Buchanan Masonic Lodge #772.
He was born October 7, 1931 in Burlington, VT to the late Rev. Earl Allbee Vincent and the late Gladys Mary lgnaszewski Vincent.
Dick was first married on August 13, 1950 to Vivian Porter Vincent and she preceded in death. He was then married May 27, 2006 to JoAnn McAdoo Vincent and she survives.
Besides his wife JoAnn, he is also survived by his one Son, Richard Earl (Marcia) Vincent, Jr. of Wheaton, IL; one Sister, Ruth Ross of Daytona, Fla; two Brothers, Robert (Marilyn) Vincent of Essex Junction, Vt, Raymond (Florence) Vincent of North Ferrisburg, Vt; Brother-ln-Law, Paul (Anna) McAdoo of Milan, TN; two Granddaughters, Rebecca (James) Herlien, Alyssa Vincent & fiancee Kurt Kamrath; Great Grandchildren, Lucas Herlien, Jonathyn Herlien, and Vivianna Herlien.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn.
He is to be cremated. Memorial Visitation will be from 12 – 2 pm Sunday, February 7, 2016. A Memorial Service with Masonic Rites will be held at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 2:00 pm Sunday, February 7, 2016.
Dr. Anne Hames will officiate. A private family interment will be held.
