Richard Allan Sharp, Sr.

Richard Allan Sharp, Sr., age 79 of Buchanan, TN, died Tuesday, March 10, 2020, at his residence.

He retired after many years as a truck driver for Yellow Freight.  Richard enjoyed gardening, hunting, raising pheasants, and loved spending time with his family.  He was a member of Blood River Church of Christ in Buchanan.

Richard was born February 17, 1941, in Walnut Ridge, AR, to the late Eddie Albert Sharp and the late Pearline Inez Daufain Sharp.

He is survived by his son, Richard Allan Sharp, Jr., of Buchanan, TN; one sister, Betty June Kellow of Delville, IN; two brothers, James Donald Sharp of Murfreesboro, TN, and David Sharp of Vivay, IN; two grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one daughter, Ramona Sharp; one sister, Marcia Reed; and one brother, Bobby Sharp.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, P.O. Box 788, Paris, TN 38242. The body is to be cremated with no services scheduled at this time.
