Richard Lee "Dick" Ruble

Richard Lee “Dick” Ruble, age 79 of Paris, TN, died Monday, August 21, 2023, at his residence.

He retired after many years as Director of Radiology for several hospitals, and later retired from a second career as a truck driver.  He was a U.S. Air Force veteran.  Dick attended Ball State University in Muncie, IN, and received a Bachelor of Science from the University of St. Francis in Joliet, IL.  He enjoyed fishing, playing the guitar, riding motorcycles, running, and skiing.

Dick was born April 27, 1944, in Muncie, IN, to the late Robert Ruble and the late Marjorie Life Ruble.

He was married in 1982 to Lee Ann Christenson Ruble, who preceded him in death on August 14, 2023.

He is survived by two stepchildren, Shannon Wendell of St. Petersburg, FL, and Travis (Telia) Wendell of Highland Ranch, CO; one sister, Sara (Danny) Robertson of Anderson, IN; and two step grandchildren, Collin Wendell and Emme Wendell.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by one sister, Shelia Kay Hudson.  

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242.  The body is to be cremated with no services planned at this time.
