Richard Dale Gallimore, age 50, of Dexter, Ky., died Thursday, July 3, 2014, at his Residence in Dexter, Ky.
He was a member of Puryear Baptist Church. He last worked at Craig's Sawmill in Puryear as a truck driver and mechanic.He loved anything to do with cars and racing. He drove demolition derby cars, raced dirt track cars and enjoyed drag racing. He loved to ride motorcylces and spending time with his family. In earlier years he enjoyed trailriding four wheelers.
He is survived by his Daughter-Nicole Gallimore of Paris, Tenn., Best Friend: Mary Gallimore Wray of Dexter, Ky. Step Daughter-Janie Stenberg of Murray, Ky, Step Daughter-Gina Stenberg of Murray, Ky, Step Daughter-Sandy (Scott) Hatfield of Puryear, Tenn. Step Son-James (Brandy) Stenberg of Ledbetter, Ky, Step Son-Izaiah Riddle of Dexter, Ky. One Sister,Denay (Ricky) Carson of Puryear, Tenn .Brothers, Kenny (Sherry) Gallimore of Puryear, Tenn.,James Cook of Union City, Tenn; Grandchildren, Preston Stenberg, Greyson Stenberg and Emily Craig and several Nieces and Nephews.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St. , Paris, Tenn., where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Tuesday, July 8, 2014 and from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM Wednesday, July 9, 2014. A Graveside Service will be held at Puryear City Cemetery at 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 9, 2014 , with Steve Gallimore officiating. Interment will be at Puryear City Cemetery in Puryear, Tenn.
