Richard Cox, Sr.

Richard Leroy Cox, Sr., age 72, of Springville, Tenn., died Thursday, November 20, 2014, at his residence in Springville, Tenn.

He was a retired Electrical Construction worker for Local 204 in Terre Haute, Indiana.   He attended Pleasant Hill Methodist Church and enjoyed wood working and working with his hands.

Richard was born February 5, 1942 in Terre Haute, IN to the late Joseph Owen Cox Sr. and the late Mary Smith Cox.

He is survived by his  One Daughter,  Andrea (Bill) Tucker of Ramsey, Minn;  Two Sons,  Richard (Candace) Cox, Jr. of Springville, Tenn,  Benjamin (Tonya) Shirk of Clinton, Ind;   One Step-Daughter-Tracy (Nolan) Smith of Murfreesboro, Tenn;   Three Sisters,  Ester Schaffer of New Goshen, Ind,  Loretta Morris of Terre Haute, Ind,  Thelma Fulk of Terre Haute, Ind,  One Brother,  James Cox of Marshall, Ill; 5 Grandchildren;  8 Great Grandchildren.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn.

He will be cremated.  No Service is planned.
