Rian Troy Evans, age 81, of Paris, TN, died Sunday, February 19, 2017, at Paris Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center in Paris, TN.
Rian worked at McKee Supply in Paris for 11 years. He was a member of the Paris Church of God of Prophecy. He enjoyed fishing, traveling, and listening to Gospel music.
He was born July 31, 1935, in Big Sandy, TN, to the late James Elias Evans and the late Ronie Alice Evans.
He is survived by one sister, Rita (James “Pinky”) Williams of Paris, TN; one brother, Denton (Iva Lou) Evans of Paris, TN; three nieces, Alice (Scott) Massey, Terri (Jack) Bruce, and Suzanne Evans; and six nephews, Russell (Marcie) Evans, Tony (Beth) Evans, Larry (Brenda) Crowder, Randy (Linda) Crowder, David (Barbara) Crowder, and Kevin (Lisa) Williams.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Venita Evans; and a brother, James S. Evans.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, Tenn., where the visitation will be from 5 – 7 pm Tuesday, February 21, 2017, and at the Paris Church of God of Prophecy on Wednesday, February 22, 2017, from 12 – 1pm. The funeral service will be at 1:00 pm Wednesday, February 22, 2017, at the Paris Church of God of Prophecy, with Roger Smith officiating.
Serving as pallbearers are Randy Cowder, David Crowder, Larry Crowder, Russell Evans, Tony Evans, and Kevin Williams.
Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Memory Garden in Paris, TN.
