Reba "Lanell" Stewart

Reba Lanell Stewart, age 71 of Buchanan, TN, passed away Sunday, March 6, 2022, at her home.

She formerly worked several years at H.I.S. in Troy, TN, and then later retired from the Paris Landing State Park Inn where she worked in the restaurant and the convention center. Lanell enjoyed playing games and loved being outdoors and spending time on the lake, on the pontoon boat with family and friends.

Lanell was born August 22, 1950, in Obion County, TN, to the late James E. “Red” Parmenter and Frances Odell Ward Parmenter.

She was married October 12, 1985, to Richard E. Stewart, who survives of Buchanan.

In addition to her husband, she is survived one daughter, Lisa (Bob) Clark of Mendota, IL; One brother, Olen (Teresa) Parmenter of Union City, TN; and a grandson, Richard (Brooklyn) Rappley of Mendota, IL.

Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her son Christopher Dale Parmenter and one brother, James Harold Parmenter.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242.  Visitation will be Tuesday, March 8, 2022, from 9:00 am – 11:00 am at Ridgeway Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at 11:00 am at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with Randy Stephens officiating.

Pallbearers will be Richard Rappley, Jesse Stewart, Steven Parmenter, Todd Parmenter, Kyle Waldron, and Larry Waldron Jr.

Burial will be in New Liberty Cemetery in Buchanan, TN.
