Raymond G. Hatley

Raymond Gale Hatley, age 69 of Puryear, died Wednesday, December 25, 2024, at West Tennessee Healthcare Henry County Hospital. 

Raymond was born July 19, 1955, in Berwyn, IL, to Dolores May Bouchard Duncan and the late Hoover Hatley. He cherished his time driving a school bus for the Bolingbrook, IL school system. He also found great joy in spending time outdoors, watching deer and other wildlife. His love for animals extended to dogs and cats, with whom he enjoyed sharing his days.

Along with his mother, he is survived by five sisters, Barbara Carter of Puryear, TN, Karen Rednour of Romeoville, IL, Christie Vance of Murray, KY, Tera Northington of Oklahoma, and Carolyn Cameron of Oklahoma; and two brothers, Donald Hatley of Puryear, TN, and Steve Hatley of Bolingbrook, IL. 

In addition to his father, he is proceded in death by his grandmother, Clara Schroeder, and his brother, David Cole. 

Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/ P.O. Box 788, Paris, TN, 38242, will be handling the arrangements. His body is to be cremated with no services planned at this time.
