Raymond Denton

Raymond Denton, age 74 of Paris, TN, died Tuesday, August 23, 2022, at Henry County Medical Center.

He retired from Pella Windows in Murray, KY.  Raymond was a U.S. Army Vietnam veteran.  He enjoyed piddling in his shop and the outdoors.

Raymond was born May 20, 1948, in Woodlawn, TN, to the late Willie Denton and the late Mary Ballinger Denton.

He was married on March 30, 1974, to Peggy Paschall Denton, who survives, of Paris.

Besides his wife, he is also survived by a daughter, Cathy (John) Perry of Clarksville, TN; a stepson, Jeff Thomason of Fort Pierce, FL; one granddaughter, Ally Thomason; his dog, Sally; four nieces; and one nephew.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one daughter, Angela “Angie” Denton; two sisters, Mary Phillips and Marie Phillips; and one brother, Leonard Denton.

The body is to be cremated with a private burial of cremains to be held in VanDyke Grove Cemetery in Paris, TN.
