Ray Mullins, age 79, of San Antonio, Texas and long-time resident of Paris, TN died Monday, October 13, 2014, at North Central Baptist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas.
He was married to Emma Rachel Pinckley Mullins July 1, 1955 and she preceded in death January 10, 2014.
He was a member of Olive Branch Methodist Church and was a retired machinist from American Bridge Co. in Gary, IN.
Ray was born August 25, 1935 in Dyersburg, Tn to the late Hurley D. Mullins and the late Jessie Isabell Mullins.
He is survived by his Two Sons, Eddie (Diane) Mullins of San Antonio, Texas, Jimmy (Lisa) Mullins of Katy, Texas; Two Sisters, Marie Mullins of Paris, Tenn, Juanita Smith of Cottage Grove, Tenn, Four Grandchildren, Aaron (Shauna) Mullins, Lindsey (Kai) Nyby, Bryce Mullins, and Blake Mullins; Seven Great Grandchildren, Kai Nyby, Grey Nyby, Charlie Nyby, Phillip Mullins, Tera Mullins, Lexie Mullins, and Eli Mullins.
Besides his wife and parents, Ray was preceded in death by a Sister, Carolyn Whitson and Brothers, Hurley Mullins, Jr., Robert Mullins, and Frank Mullins.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn., where the visitation will be from 2 – 6 pm Thursday, October 16, 2014 and from 9 - 10 am Friday, October 17, 2014. The Funeral Service will be at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 10:00 AM Friday, October 17, 2014.
Mike Wimberley will officiate. Pallbearers will be Aaron Mullins, Bryce Mullins, Blake Mullins, Charles Mullins, and Kai Nyby.
Interment will be at Olive Branch Cemetery in Cottage Grove, Tenn.
