Ray Lash

Raymond Gordon “Ray” Lash, age 87 of Springville, TN, died Thursday, August 2, 2018, at his residence in Springville, TN.

He was the owner & operator of KOA Campground at Kentucky Lake for 33 years alongside his wife.  He also worked in construction for several years and formerly worked at Walmart.  He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Korean War.

Ray was born April 20, 1931, in Midlothian, IL, to the late David Lash and the late Yvonne Bastien Lash.

He was married December 11, 1954, to Carolyn Dohl Lash, who survives, of Springville, TN.

Along with his wife, he is also survived by one grandson, Joshua Hunt of Buchanan, TN.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one daughter, Deborah A. Hunt; two sisters; and five brothers.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN.  The body is to be cremated with no services planned at this time.
