Ray Barlow, age 71 of Paris, TN, died Friday, March 9, 2018, at Henry County Medical Center in Paris, TN.
He retired as a truck driver from Cabana Construction in Ft. Myers, FL. He also spent many years as a factory worker for Fuller Transmission in Michigan. He loved working on his old truck, watching wrestling and car racing. He was a US Army veteran and was Baptist in belief.
Ray was born October 5, 1946, in McKenzie, TN, to the late Roe Todd Barlow and the late Ida Griffey Barlow.
He is survived by his wife, Sherry Barlow of Paris, TN; one daughter, Kristie Barlow and special friend, John Lambert of Loveland, OH; one son, Shane “Scooter” Twyford and special friend Sarah Downs of Paris, TN; one brother, Jerry Barlow of Paris, TN; two grandchildren, Shawn Barlow of Seattle, WA, and Krystal Rae Duggins of Loveland, OH; three great grandchildren, Alucard Jax Niazi, Zahra Niazi, and Rafi Niazi; and many nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by on sister, Betty Barton; and two brothers, Thomas Barlow and Billy Barlow.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN, where memorial visitation will be Saturday, March 10, 2018, from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m., with the memorial service beginning at 2:00 p.m. in LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home, with Bryan Oakes officiating.
