She is preceded in death by her mother, Jill Sue Plowman, and one grandson, Isaiah Petty.
Randy graduated from Corunna High School in 1981 and pursued her career as a cosmetologist. She then entered the banking industry in Michigan only years later to move to Tennessee to be closer to her family. She continued her career in banking at Security Bank until she found new employment at Bethel University in the Business Office where she left after several years to pursue her dream of raising horses in 2002. Her love for others called her to volunteer at Tomorrow’s Hope for several years helping families and new mothers in need, participating in Helping Hands, and the McKenzie Animal Shelter. She also spent 9 years shooting commercial Firework shows with her family. She always had a dream of living on a farm and that dream became a reality when she created Pleasant Hill Quarter Horses in 2008 where she lived out her passion and love for animals.
She dedicated her life to serving the needs of her family, church, friends, along with any and all animals that were placed in her path. She turned no one away, she opened her home and farm to all that had a need. She loved traveling all over the United States picking up or dropping off horses, attending horse shows, taking in stray animals and nurturing them back to life, riding horses, working around the farm with her farm family, crafting, and most of all loving on her most precious gifts of all, her grandchildren.
Randy was a very active member of Holy Cross Catholic Church. She loved her family and friends, but above all she loved Jesus the most and is now in His beautiful pastures of Heaven reunited with all her family, friends and animals that have gone before her. She was able to continue her love of helping and blessing others even after her death with organ donation.
