Randy Jasper, age 70 of Richland Center, WI, died Friday, October 23, 2020, at Meriter Hospital in Madison, WI.
He was the owner and operator of Jasper farms for 50 years, who loved tractor pulls and International Harvester tractors. He was a member of the Tree of Life Unitarian Universalist Congregation in McHenry, IL. Randy was also a member of the South West Tractor Pullers, Family Farm Defenders, and Family Farm Coalition.
Randy was born October 1, 1950, in Reedsburg, WI, to the late Joseph Amos Jasper and to the late Phylis Arlene Jasper.
He was married March 29, 2008 to Zena McFadden Jasper, who survives of Richland Center, WI.
Along with his wife, he is survived by one son, Kevin (Lynn) Jasper of Boaz, WI one daughter, Kris Steiner of Bascobel, WI; two brothers, Rollie (Jeanne) Jasper of Wonewoc, WI and Rick (Barb) Jasper of Sauk City, WI, seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren; and many other family members in Paris, TN.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, P.O. Box 788, Paris, TN 38242. Visitation will be Thursday, October 29, 2020, from 10:00 am – 11:00 am at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with the funeral service beginning at 11:00 am at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home, with Richard Dakin officiating. For anyone who wishes not to attend the service inside, an opportunity for viewing will be available at the graveside portion of the service. Per the family’s request, face masks are required for both the visitation and funeral service and social distancing will be observed.
Serving as pallbearers will be Kevin Jasper, Rollie Jasper, Rick Jasper, and Clifford Cox.
Burial will be in Bevil Cemetery in Paris, TN.
