The funeral service for former Henry Countian Randall Clayton of Cordova was scheduled at 1 p.m. today at Ridgeway Funeral Home. Jerry Lee was to officiate. Burial was to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Chosen as pallbearers were Jason Clayton, Bobby Tribble, Howie, Hayden and Hunter Heins and Gerald Boyd.
Clayton, 59, died of Lou Gehrig’s disease Friday, Nov. 22, 2013, at the Methodist Hospice Residence in Memphis.
Born Dec. 12, 1953, in Detroit, he was a son of Mary Allene Boyd Clayton of Memphis and the late Robert Charlie Clayton.
His fiancee, Pat Warren, and her children Ashley and Andy (Nicole) Warren survive.
He worked as an operations supervisor for the Kellogg company.
In addition to his mother, he leaves one daughter: Ashley Clayton of Cordova; a brother: Donnie Clayton and fiancee Ellen Berzins of Bloomfield Hills, Mich.; two nieces: Kelly (Chris) Kowske and Lisa (Mike) Mollan, both of Lake Orion, Mich.; one nephew: Jason (Sindy) Clayton of Macomb Township, Mich.; and two godchildren: Hunter and Hayden Heins of Houston.
