Ralph Boyd Jackson, Jr.

Ralph Boyd Jackson, Jr, age 71 of Como, TN, died Wednesday, January 4, 2023, at Jackson-Madison County Hospital in Jackson, TN.

He was a member of Cottage Grove Baptist Church.  Ralph enjoyed deer hunting, woodworking, and his model 66 Chevy pickup truck.

Ralph was born September 11, 1951, in Everett, PA, to the late Ralph Boyd Jackson, Sr. and the late Esta Virginia Price Jackson.

He was married November 24, 1975, to Teresa Lowery Jackson, who survives, of Como, TN.

Along with his wife, he is also survived by two daughters, Christina (Kyle) Bursey of Paris, and Nancy (Corey) Meggs of Somerset, KY; five sisters, Margorie Gilliam of Starke, FL, Dorothy Alderson of Whitter, CA, Darlene Stephens of Ardmore, OK, Jacqueline (Ernest) Schroer of Crossville, TN, and Sandra (James) White of Tecumseh, OK; three grandchildren, Ethan Boyd Meggs, Elise Jo-Anne Meggs, and Tyler John (Justine) Bursey; and one great grandchild, Ivy Lilian Bursey.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a son, Gregory Boyd Jackson; and one sister, Joanne Foor.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242.  Visitation will be Monday, January 9, 2023, from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with the funeral service beginning at 2:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home with Dr. Corey Meggs officiating.  The body is to be cremated following the service.
