Ralph Sanders

December 15, 1946 — September 2, 2016

Ralph Joel Sanders, age 69, of Mansfield, Tenn, died Friday, September 2, 2016, at Henry County Medical Center in Paris, Tenn.

Ralph was a lifelong farmer.  He served in the US Marine Reserves, and he enjoyed fishing, and telling jokes.

He was born December 15, 1946 in Mansfield, TN to the late Raymond W. Sanders and the late Queenie Francisco Sanders.

Ralph was married on March 21,1966 to Sarah Eleanor McCright Sanders, and she preceded in death  September 28, 2007.  He is survived by his one Son, Richard "Ricky" Holcomb of Mansfield, Tenn;  six Sisters, Betty Ruth Wheatley of Springville, Tenn, Virginia Walters of Hollow Rock, Tenn, Carol Vickers of Mansfield, Tenn, Peggy Cate of Paris, Tenn, Hazel Martin of Paris, Tenn,  and Kathy Collie of Mansfield, Tenn;  one Brother, Luke Sanders of Mansfield, Tenn; and three Grandchildren, Richard J.D. Holcomb, Marissa Briers, and Kyle Holcomb.

Besides his Wife and Parents, he was also preceded in death by a Brother, Amos Sanders.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, Tenn, where the visitation will be from 4 – 7 pm Saturday, September 3, 2016 and from 12 – 2 pm Sunday, September 4, 2016.   The Funeral Service will be at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 2:00 pm Sunday, September 4, 2016 with Dwight Turner officiating.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Interment will be at Henry Co. Tabernacle Cemetery in Springville, Tenn.
