Peggie Sadler Sudberry, age 79 of Paris, TN, died Tuesday, September 1, 2020, at Saint Thomas Midtown Hospital in Nashville, TN.
She worked for several years at Walmart in Paris. She also volunteered at Henry County Medical Center as one of the “Pink Ladies” for many years. Peggie was a member of VanDyke Church of Christ in Paris. She enjoyed traveling and helping make baby blankets for HCMC.
Peggie was born June 30, 1941, to the late David Elton Owen and the late Lorene Glisson Owen.
She first married Robert Bruce Sadler, who preceded her in death. She later married Richard Sudberry, who also preceded her in death.
She is survived by one daughter, Teresa Wofford of Paris; one son, Ronnie (Kathy) Sadler of Paris; five grandchildren, Nick Wofford, Katrina (Mason) Sykes, Mary Kathrine Sadler and Shane Wheat, Luke Sadler, and Zach Sadler; and five great grandchildren, Ryker Sykes, Maddie Sykes, Eli Rowland, Carter Rowland, and Oliver Rowland.
In addition to her parents, her first husband, and her second husband, she was also preceded in death by one brother, Dan Owen.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242. The body is to be cremated. A graveside memorial service will be held Friday, September 25, 2020, at 11:00 am at Olive Branch Cemetery in Cottage Grove, TN, with Randy Stephens and Gene Baker officiating.
Burial of cremains will follow the service in Olive Branch Cemetery.
