Paula Boyd

Paula Graham Boyd, age 53 of Springville, TN, died Thursday, June 21, 2018, at her residence in Springville, TN.

Paula was the longtime secretary at Lakewood School in Henry County, a position she held for 20 years.  She was a member of Point Pleasant Baptist Church, and was a child of God.  She loved camping, and bonfires, and enjoyed riding her Polaris Ranger around the community.  Paula loved spending time with her grandson and she was all about her family.  She also loved all the kids at Lakewood School.

Paula was born November 12, 1964 in Wilmington, NC to the late Paul Revere Graham and the late Cathrine Inez Lanier Graham.

She was married on November 7, 1987 to Lee Wayne Boyd Sr. and he survives of Springville, TN.  She is also survived by one son, Lee Wayne “Skeeter” (Morgan) Boyd Jr. of Springville, TN; two sisters, Gail (Mike) Pettyjohn of Defiance, MO, and Julie Throm of Springville, TN; one brother, Paul R. (Toni) Graham Jr. of Flower Mound, TX; and one grandson, Paxton Lee Boyd.

Besides her parents, Paula was also preceded in death by a son, William Coy Boyd.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN, where visitation will be Saturday, June 23, 2018, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.  Visitation will continue on Sunday, June 24, 2018 at Point Pleasant Baptist Church from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm with the funeral service beginning at 3:00 pm at Point Pleasant Baptist Church, with Bro. Larry Dukes, Bro. Jerry Lee, Amy Veazey, and Patricia Todd officiating.

Pallbearers will be Shane Jungers, Mike Pettyjohn, Chris Pettyjohn, Dave Hoskins, Lane Hoskins, Mike Bell, Brian Norton, and Sam Tharpe.  Honorary pallbearers will be Randall Hearn, Brandon Graham, Kyle Graham, and Ryan Hoskins

Burial will follow in Point Pleasant Cemetery in Buchanan, TN.
