Pat Louise Wynn

Pat Louise Wynn passed away on February 14, 2022, in Paris.  She was 72 years old at the time of her passing.

She was born July 11, 1949, in Oregon to Hershel and Hope Thoma. She was raised in San Diego, CA, and remained there until her marriage to Bill Wynn on September 13, 1969.  Afterward, they moved to Paris, TN, where they shared their life for 52 years.

Pat was a bookkeeper for Uncle Lee’s department store.  She was also a bookkeeper for Radford’s Concrete and K&R Trucking from 1994 to 2015.  She was an executive assistant to Wendell Verdell at Woodmen Life Insurance Agency in Dresden, TN.  She was the secretary for Central Point Baptist Church until her passing.

Pat was an amazing cook and loved to show her love with food.  She was an avid canner.  She and her husband also loved to camp.  She was her happiest when she was caring for her family.  Her daughter and grandchildren were the light of her life.

She is survived by her husband, Bill Wynn of Paris; her daughter, Sammie Wynn (Mark) Joyner of Lexington, TN; her two grandchildren, Houston Wynn Joyner, and Jovanna Louise Joyner, who were the light of her life; four sisters, Susan VanHorn of Spokane, WA, Cathy (Keith) Manning of Murray, KY, Cindy (Larry) Austin of Ramona, CA, and Lisa (Bill) Anderson of Gilbertsville, KY; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hershel and Hope Thoma; and an infant brother who passed at a few days old.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, Paris, TN 38242.  Visitation will be Thursday, February 17, 2022, from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home, and continue Friday, February 18, 2022, from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm.  The funeral service will be Friday, February 18, 2022, at 1:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with Bobby Campbell officiating.

Burial will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Big Sandy, TN.
