The funeral service for lifelong farmer and former carburetor plant worker Ola Weatherford of Paris will be at noon Saturday June 15, 2013 at Ridgeway Funeral Home.
John Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Weatherford, 88, died Wednesday, June 12, 2013, at Benchmark Healthcare in Puryear.
Born Jan. 25, 1925, in Springville, she was a daughter of the late William Sip and Annie Maude Wimberley Owens.
She was married on July 3, 1948, to William Verner Weatheford, who died April 25, 2002.
She farmed with her husband and worked for several years at Holley carburetor plant.
She leaves one daughter: Donna Weatherford of Paris; one son: Darrel Weatherford of Chicago; one grandchild: Allison (Jeremy) Taylor of Paris; and two great-grandchildren: Bailey Faith Webb and Jaxsen Dane Taylor.
She also was preceded in death by a son: Jim Barnhill; two sisters: Velma Wittinger and Mag French; and five brothers: Chester, Nolan, Galon, Bob and Bill Owens.
