The funeral service for homemaker and retired school system food manager Ethel Naomi Chilcutt of Buchanan was planned at 10 a.m. today at Ridgeway Funeral Home.
Roger Burke and Priestly Scott were to officiate. Burial was to follow in Mount Zion Cemetery at Buchanan.
Chosen as pallbearers are Ed Wheatley Doug and Don Durst, Mark Scott, Jerry Crouch and Kenneth Holt.
Visitation was Thursday and today.
Chilcutt, 93, died Wednesday, July 17, 2013, at Henry County Medical Center.
Born Nov. 22, 1920, in Puryear, she was the daughter of the late Robert Cortez and Ellen Holt Newport.
She was married on June 22, 1946, to Warren Rudolph Chilcutt, who died Sept. 9, 2011.
Chilcutt was a member of Bethlehem Church of Christ. She retired after 17 years as a food manager with the Tennessee School System at Buchanan School.
She leaves one son: Robert W. (Charlotte) Chilcutt of Hopkinsville, Ky.; two grandchildren: Sarah Ann (Joseph) Hampton of Paris and Chris (Gloria) Chilcutt of Madisonville, Ky.; three great-grandchildren: Anna Grace Hampton and William Joseph Hampton, both of Paris, and Walker Priestly Chilcutt of Madisonville; and several nieces and nephews.
