Nancy Ann Butler

Nancy Ann Butler, age 84 of Henry, TN, died Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at AHC of Paris.

She retired after many years as the office manager for Dr. Tusa at Paris Clinic.  She loved playing the piano and organ at church.  Nancy enjoyed spending time with her sisters, Judy and Pat, at Judy’s house in Georgia where they would meet & catch up.  She was a longtime member of Mansfield Baptist Church.

Nancy was born October 2, 1939, in Paris, TN, to the late John Douglas Walton and the late Mary Louella Clement Walton.

She was married May 10, 1959, to Bobby Wray Butler, who preceded her in death on November 12, 2006.

She is survived by her two children, Michael Wray “Mike” (Kim) Butler of Henry, TN, and Jennifer (Jerry) Drye of Dalton, GA; two sisters, Patsy Nesbitt of Fort Myers, FL, and Judy Nobles of Danville, GA; four grandchildren, Griffin (Valarie) Butler of McKenzie, TN, Corbin (Courtland) Butler of Henry, TN, Zack Drye of Dalton, GA, and Meagan (Dylan) Wolfe of Ewing, NJ; six great grandchildren, Bryson, Avery Kate, Ella Rose, and Saylor Brooke Butler, Julie and Sophia Wolfe; and two great grand dogs, Nova and Mollie.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by two brothers, Billy Walton, and Lee “Chester” Walton; and one granddaughter, Brooke Webb.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN.  A private family graveside service will be held at McAuley Cemetery in Buena Vista, TN, with Jerry Drye officiating.

Burial will follow the service in McAuley Cemetery.
