Nancy Ainscough

Nancy Diane Ainscough, age 77 of Puryear, TN, died Tuesday, December 10, 2019, at her residence.

She formerly worked in quality control at Briggs and Stratton in Murray, KY.  Alongside her husband, Nancy enjoyed building hot rod cars, and going to car clubs and shows.  She enjoyed time with family and friends and giving to others.   She attended Jesus Saves Baptist Church in Buchanan, TN.

Nancy was born June 8, 1942, in Akron, OH, to the late Samuel Sellers and the late Thelma Elrod Sellers.

She was married November 6, 1959, to Larry R. Ainscough, who preceded her in death on May 13, 2019.

She is survived by her daughter, Traci (Joe) Collins of Springville, TN; four sons, Kevin Ainscough, Eric Ainscough and Jeff Ainscough all of Paris, TN,  and Perry Ainscough of Murray, KY; a sister, Sandy (Gary) Carder of Akron, OH; 19 grandchildren; and 29 great grandchildren.

Along with her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a daughter, Cheri Michelle Ainscough; and two sisters, Helen Forzetting, and Mildred Jeanne Swinehart.

Pallbearers for the service will be Nancy’s grandsons.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN.  Visitation will be Thursday, December 12, 2019 from 10:00 am – 11:00 am at Jesus Saves Baptist Church, 65 Johnson Lane, Buchanan, TN 38222.  The funeral service will be Thursday, December 12, 2019, at 11:00 am at Jesus Saves Baptist Church, with Pastor Joe Collins officiating.

Burial will be in the Welbourn Cemetery in Midway, TN.
