Myra Kay Clayton

Myra Kay Clayton, age 76 of Paris, TN, died April 3, 2019, in Paris, TN.

Kay enjoyed traveling, first with her family as a military spouse - including three years in Hawaii. In the next chapter of her life after returning to Paris, traveling meant time to see grandkids. She was a member of Paris Community of Christ where she served anywhere needed and anyone in need.  Kay enjoyed gardening, reading, and watching her birds. The great love of her life was her family who cherished her to the end.

Kay was born March 16, 1943, in Paris, TN, to the late Fonnie Lee Boyd and the late Cloie Novene Alsup Boyd.

She is survived by two daughters, Teresa (Bill) Hood of Cary, NC, and Tracey Ponce of Franklin, TN; one son Mike Clayton of Oconomowoc, WI; one sister, Kathy Boyd Osbron of Buchanan, TN; one brother, Phillip (Patsy) Boyd of Paris, TN; five grandchildren, Andrew Hood, Gabi Clayton, Zach Clayton, Nick (Nicole) Segui, and Max Ponce; one great grandchild, Zoey Segui; three nieces, Trish Boyd, Donna Plumley, and Susan Melton; and three nephews, Joey Boyd, Jamie Osbron, and Jason Osbron.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN, where visitation will be Friday, April 5, 2019, from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm and Saturday, April 6, 2019 from 10:00 – 11:00 am.  The funeral service will be 11:00 am Saturday, April 6, 2019 at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home.  Cremation will follow the service with burial at a later date.
