Murrell Greenway

Murrell Houston Greenway, age 87 of Springville, TN, died Saturday, December 15, 2018, at his residence.

He was a Korean War Veteran, who served in the US Army. He was a lifetime member of American Legion Post 100 in Gary, IN, Amvets Post 45, and VFW Post 1889. Murrell retired from US Steel Corporation in Gary, Indiana. He enjoyed fishing and playing golf.

Murrell was born February 6, 1931 to the late Amos Greenway and the late Veara Britt Greenway.

He married on August 22, 1953, to Doris Fuller Greenway who survives of Springville, TN.

Along with his wife, he is survived by three grandchildren, Kevin Greenway, Lisa McFarland, and Martin Greenway; and one great grandchild, Emily Grace McFarland.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two sons, Tony Gale Greenway and David Earl Greenway; two brothers, Robert Greenway and Wayne Greenway; and one grandchild, Andy Greenway.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home 201 Dunlap St. Paris, TN. His body is to be cremated with no services scheduled at this time.
