Mildred Priddy Byars

Mildred Mae Priddy Byars, age 86, of Paris, TN, died Sunday, November 17, 2024, at AHC of Paris.

Mildred was a member of East Wood Church of Christ in Paris. She loved yard sales and spending time with her family.

She was born May 25, 1938, in Paris, TN to the late John Thomas Priddy and the late Almeda Hutchens Priddy.

She was married on March 10. 1956, to Billy G. Byars and he preceded her in death on June 9, 2012. 

She is survived by her niece and caregiver, Edna Priddy (Terry Nolan) of Cottage Grove, TN along with several other nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mildred was also preceded in death by one sister, Helen Henrietta Morris; three brothers, Thomas H. Priddy, James Priddy, and Hafford Priddy.

Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St./ P.O. Box 788, Paris, TN 38242, will be handling the arrangements. Her visitation will be at Ridgeway Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm with the funeral service at 1:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home with Chad Kennedy officiating.

Mildred’s nephews will serve as pallbearers.

Burial will follow the service in Walker Cemetery in Paris.
