Michael Roger “Mike” Nichols, age 65, of Paris, Tenn., died Sunday, September 14, 2014, at Jackson Madison Co. Gen. Hosp. in Jackson, Tenn.
Mike was married July 16, 1976 to Patricia Gale "Pat" Glover Nichols and she preceded in death April 10, 2003.
He was a member of Maplewood Baptist Church. He was a former Henry Co.Commissioner and was currently a Datebase Administrator for Bethel University in McKenzie, TN.
Mike was born April 9, 1949 in Lansing, MI to the late Larry Roger Nichols and the late Dorothy June McWherter Nichols.
He is survived by his One Daughter, April (Randy) Tanner of Paris, Tenn; Step Daughter, Sherry (Randy) Stone of Paris, Tenn; One Step Son, Mike(Dreama) Glover of Dresden, Tenn; One Sister, Elmarie (Larry) Dunlap of Paris, Tenn; Grandchildren, Danielle Doogan, Amanda Holt, Zack Stone, John Stone, Lexie Burnette, Alex Tanner, Brenen Glover, and Chase Glover; and Six Great Grandchildren.
Besides his Wife and Parents Mike was also preceded in death by a Daughter, Tina Marie Lee and Grandchild, Nick Hart.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn., where the visitation will be from 4 – 7 pm Tuesday, September 16, 2014 and from 9 – 11 am Wednesday, September 17, 2014. The Funeral Service will be at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 17, 2014.
Corey Cain of Maplewood Baptist Church and Paul Veazey will officiate. Pallbearers will be Brenen Glover, Chase Glover, Jason Dunlap, Dylan Burnette, LeRoy Parish, and Jimmy Barrett.
Interment will be at Olive Branch Cemetery Near Cottage Grove, Tenn.
Memorial may be made to Maplewood Baptist Church Building Fund, 8700 Highway 218 By-Pass, Paris, TN 38242.
