Michael Dale Perry

Michael Dale Perry, age 59 of Paris, TN, died Monday, April 5, 2021, in Kentucky.

He was a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church in Paris, where he was present most every time the doors were open.  Michael loved animals, especially elephants, and enjoyed visiting zoos anytime he got the chance.

Michael was born September 10, 1961, in Obion County, TN.  His parents were the late Baxter Othell “Cotton” Perry and the late Ruby Charlene Hicks Perry.

He is survived by his cat, Charlie; his Bethesda UMC family; two aunts, Dorris Perry of Huntingdon, TN, and Ruth Taylor of Paris; and several other cousins.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, Paris, TN, 38242.  Visitation will be Friday, April 9, 2021, from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at Bethesda United Methodist Church, 200 Bethesda Road, Paris, TN 38242, with the funeral service beginning at 1:00 pm at Bethesda United Methodist Church, with Emily Walker officiating.

Serving as pallbearers will be Bo Walker, Ron Lowe, Tim Sciutto, Lyle Maize, Randy Long, Dave Van Loo, Joseph Cooper, and Josh Warbritten.

Burial will be in Walker Cemetery in Paris.
