Michael Joseph "Mike" Oliver, Sr.

Michael Joseph Oliver, Sr., age 59 of Birmingham, AL, died Friday, August 11, 2023, at UAB Hospital in Birmingham, AL.

He was a longtime Henry County resident, living here for 25 years.  He worked in an assortment of industries with skills in management, automotive, electrical, and maintenance.  Mike was a talented artist who enjoyed drawing, creating his artwork, and building his models.  There was nothing he loved more than his family.

Mike was born July 12, 1964, in Chicago, IL, to the late Robert A. Oliver and the late Carol Detloff Brown.  

He was married November 27, 1996, to Ronda Williamson Oliver, who survives, of Paris.  

Along with his wife, he is also survived by two daughters, Tyetta (Justin) Page of Paris, and Leah (Sam) Bates of Paris; one son, Michael Joseph Oliver, Jr., of Paris; two sisters, Debra Oliver and Janet Davila; and two grandchildren, Jared Page and Asher Allbritton.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one grandchild, Drake Page.  

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242.  The body is to be cremated with no services planned at this time.
