Michael Kevin "Mike" Harrison

Michael Kevin “Mike” Harrison, age 55 of Palmersville, TN, formerly of Dyersburg, TN, died Monday, December 25, 2023, at his residence. 

He worked in industrial maintenance for Jimmy Dean Foods in Dyersburg, TN.  Mike was a very accomplished musician and enjoyed playing with his band “Fruit Loop & The Cereal Killers.”  He was a motorcycle enthusiast and loved Ford Mustangs.  In the words of his family member, “Mike was the best neighbor, best storyteller, best guitar player, best cornbread maker, best cousin and even better friend.”  He was Church of Christ by belief.

Mike was born May 27, 1968, in Dyersburg, TN, to the late Roger Harrison and the late Maria Butler Harrison.

He is survived by his aunt, Elaine (Bob) Watkins of Cottage Grove, TN; his cousin, Buck (Leah) Watkins of Cottage Grove, TN, and family, Alexus (Gavin) Gordon and Barrett Watkins; lifelong friends, Rick Ellis and Daniel White; his extended family, the Rudy family; and many numerous cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one brother, Johnny C. Harrison. 

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN.  The body is to be cremated. 

Memorial visitation will be Saturday, January 13, 2024 from 3 – 5 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home with a memorial service at 5:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home.
