Michael Ray Cole

Michael Ray Cole. Age 67 of Puryear, TN, died Thursday, January 11, 2024, at his residence.

He was a longtime truck driver driving for Kesterson Food Company, MBL, and D&G Trucking.  Michael was a hard worker who enjoyed working in his garden and working as a mechanic.  He loved spending time with his family.

Michael was born January 1, 1957, in Paris, TN to the late Roy Lee Cole and Janie Buie Underwood, who survives, of Puryear, TN.

He was married August 24, 1991, to Carolyn Louise Brisendine, who survives, of Puryear, TN.

Along with his wife and mother, he is also survived by two daughters, Tina (Ricky) Tanner of Puryear, TN, and Jennifer (Steven) Piontek of Mayfield, KY; one stepdaughter, Christina (Joel) Hutson of Puryear, TN; four sisters, Carol (Danny) Clark of Paris, TN, Rebecca (Keth) Turner of Huntingdon, TN, Annette (Bill) Frampton of Paris, TN, and Teresa Cole of Paris, TN; two brothers, Bubba (Weebee Robinson) Cole of Paris, TN, and Gary Cole of Buchanan, TN; and 10 grandchildren.

In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by two brothers, Ronnie Cole and Jody Cole.   

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN.  Visitation will be Thursday, January 18, 2024, from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with the funeral service beginning at 7:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with Mike Wimberley officiating.

Cremation will follow the service.
