Merriann Swor Starzec

Merriann Swor Starzec, age 64 of Jackson, TN, formerly of Paris, died Saturday, October 9, 2021, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, TN.

She was a member of Spring Creek Baptist Church.  Merriann was a homemaker who enjoyed reading, watching Netflix, and her cat Molly.  She loved her family and grandchildren.

Merriann was born June 8, 1957, in Paris, TN, to the late Horace Washington Swor and the late Betty Jean Sanders Swor.

She married Robert Starzec, who preceded her in death.

She is survived by one daughter Ashley Odom of Jackson, TN; one son, Scott Sealy of Jackson, TN; four brothers, Tim (Melissa) Swor of Springville, TN, Mark Swor of Paris, Mike Swor of Springville, TN, and Randy Swor of Springville, TN; and three grandchildren, Lexi Odom, Clay Sealy, and Lyndon Sealy.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, Paris, TN 38242.  A graveside service will be held Thursday, October 14, 2021, at 11:00 am at Spring Creek Cemetery in Paris, TN, with Chad Kennedy officiating.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Burial will follow the graveside service in Spring Creek Cemetery.
