Mattie Holland

Mattie Lee Fry Holland, age 97, of Springville, Tenn., died Monday, March  2, 2015, at Paris Healthcare and Rehab Center in Paris, Tenn.

Mattie married Marion “Slick” Holland and he preceded in death.    She was a homemaker who formerly worked at the Holley Carburetor Plant and she loved the Tennessee Titans.

She was born April 24, 1917 in Sugar Tree, TN to the late Hamer Fry and the late Lora Floyd Fry.

She is survived by her One Sister, Nelle Jean Vogle of Bruceton, Tenn and One Brother, Billy James Fry of Camden, Tenn;  One grandchild, Jerry (Tammy) Holland of Paris, Tenn;  and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her Husband and Parents,  she was also preceded in death by her Sons, James F. "Jimmy" Holland and Jerry Lee Holland Sr.;   Sisters: Lou Wofford and Sue Dalton, and Brothers: Fred Fry and Leslie Fry.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn., where the visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Monday, March  2, 2015 and after 10:00 AM Tuesday, March  3, 2015.     The Funeral Service will be at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Tuesday, March  3, 2015

Dwight Turner will officiate.   Family and Friends will serve as Pallbearers.

Interment will be at Memorial Cemetery in Paris, Tenn.
